Position Summary 

 

The After School Program Leader position is vital to supporting students on site at San Francisco Day School.  This involves: regular lesson planning, delivering lessons to groups of students, supervising safe play, helping resolve student conflicts all while keeping our students and community safe.  

 

Qualifications

  • Has experience leading youth programs 
  • Proficient technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
  • Lesson Planning Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a group of students in an after school program setting
  • Regular daily lesson planning 
  • Collaborate with teams to help design and implement an interdisciplinary, thematic-based, experiential curriculum.  
  • Participate in all aspects of program throughout the day
  • Foster a love of learning in every student
  • Prepare and clean up spaces daily
  • Maintain the safety of each student, supporting our health and safety guidelines while on or off campus. 

 

 This is a part-time position, M-F 2:00-6:00pm. Rate of pay is $18-20 per hour
